This Tuna Casserole is good served alone or with fresh cooked green beans. I use tuna packed in water and you can use skimmed milk which makes it more healthy.
Ingredients:
1 can cream of chicken soup.
3 Tbsp chopped onion.
1/2 cup chopped green pepper.
3 Tbsp butter.
1 Tbsp salt.
6 Tbsp flour.
1 1/2 cup milk.
1-7 ounce can tuna, drained.
1 Tbsp lemon juice.
1 can of biscuits.
1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
DIRECTIONS:
Brown onion and pepper in butter.
Add salt and flour.
Blend and add soup and milk.
Cook until smooth.
Add tuna which has been soaking in lemon juice.
Put in baking dish, cover with biscuits and sprinkle with cheese.
