This Sand Tarts Recipe is a treat enjoyed by young and old alike. Ingredients:
Then slowly add flour mix. The mix will become very stiff. Make into 2 rolls (it is easy to work). Refrigerate over night using waxed paper to store the rolls. Slice 1/4 in thick and place on cookie sheet. They will get larger so leave room. Beat egg white or push through a strainer. Brush tops of cookies. Make sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Almonds may be added if you like. Bake 400° for 8 minutes.
