Puppy Chow Recipe


This Puppy Chow Recipe was shared with me by a longtime friend. It is a handy convenient treat to carry on trips to keep the kids happy. Adults like this as much as the kids.

Just remember, "DO NOT GIVE THIS TO THE PUPPY", dogs should not eat chocolate!

Ingredients:

  • 1-12 ounce Crispix cereal

  • 2/3 cup peanut butter

  • 12 ounces chocolate chips

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 box powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS:

    Heat together the peanut butter, chocolate chips and butter until all is melted and mixed well.

    Pour over the cereal in a large bowl.

    Mix until all of the cereal is covered with the chocolate mixture.

    Sift 1 box powdered sugar over the chocolate covered cereal.

    Carefully lift and stir cereal until all of it is completely covered with the powdered sugar.
