Poor Mans Lobster

"This Poor Mans Lobster is amazing
and it is so easy to make!"

While eating Poor Mans Lobster you will be surprised how much it tastes like lobster. If you can't find torsk, try it with any thick fish that is boneless and skinless like cod.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds torsk
  • melted butter
  • paprika
DIRECTIONS:

Cut fish into 3 serving size pieces.

Place each piece in a foil square that has been brushed with very little butter and roll up foil so it is shaped to resemble a lobster tail.

    Chill in refrigerator.

Poach in simmering water or court bouillon for 6-8 minutes.

Remove foil, place fish on wire rack, brush with butter.

Broil in a pre-heated broiler for 3-4 minutes and remove.

Dip the blunt edge of a knife in some oil, then dip it in paprika.

Make a vertical mark 1/2" from one end of the broiled fish.

Repeat the marks 3 or 4 times so it will resemble a lobster tail.

    Serves 3.
