The Best of
Monkey Bread Recipes


This is the Best of Monkey Bread Recipes. Use them as a dinner roll. I know you will love them.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup divided
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
DIRECTIONS:

    Combine milk, 1/2 cup butter, sugar and salt in sauce pan.

    Heat until butter is melted.

    Cool to 105°-115°.

    Stir in yeast until dissolved.

    Place flour in large bowl; make a well in flour and pour in liquid mixture.

    Stir until blended.

    Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.

    Turn dough out on a floured surface.

    Roll 1/4" thick.

    Cut into 3" squares.

    Dip each square into remaining 1/2 cup melted butter.

    Layer squares in a 10" tube pan.

    Let rise until doubled, 30-40 minutes.

    Bake at 375° 30-40 minutes until browned.
