Sharon's Easy Gingerbread with Lemon Raisin Sauce recipe was given to me by my sister. It is a very good tangy treat that I hope you will enjoy. Bread Ingredients:
In mixing bowl beat eggs and brown sugar until blended. Add oil and molasses mix well. Add small amounts of flour and then small amounts of boiling water until all is combined. Pour into oiled 13"x9" pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
Add water small amount at a time mixing. Cook until mixture thickens and clears. Add lemon juice and raisins if desired.
Spoon warm lemon sauce over warm cake.
