Mix together the flour, dry milk, yeast, salt and sugar in bowl of large mixer.Heat water to 115° and add 1/4 cup butter. Mix until melted.
Add water to ingredients in mixing bowl.
Mix at second speed with dough hook.
Add egg after 45 seconds, and mix thoroughly.
Remove bowl from mixer, set aside, cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
Remove dough from bowl and place on floured counter or table top.
Preshape and roll dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4" thick.
Brush dough with softened butter.
Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Roll dough into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
Place on greased/parchment paper covered cookie sheet, and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 365° for 18 minutes or until golden brown.
Drizzle with icing (instructions follow) and serve hot.
