Cherry Crunch Recipe



A co-worker gave me this Cherry Crunch Recipe many years ago. I just knew some of the ingredients had been left out of the recipe. I tried it and found it really worked well. It has become one of our favorites. Great for last minute dessert when you are rushed or have unexpected company. Quick to put together then just pop in the oven. Great served with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg beaten
DIRECTIONS:

    Mix all ingredients except cherries and butter together thoroughly.

    Spoon evenly over cherries in a baking dish.

    Slices 1/2 stick butter over top.

    Back at 325° for 45 minutes or until browned.
