Cut shortening into sifted dry ingredients until it looks like coarse crumbs.Add milk and stir with fork until it is incorporated completely.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
Knead gently until the dough is smooth and doesn't stick to your hands.
Roll or pat out to 1/2" thick.
Cut with floured biscuit cutter.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 450° for 12 minutes or until brown.°
