Bisquick Sausage Balls

These Bisquick Sausage Balls are the most useful appetizer we have found. It has become a tradition in our family to have them Christmas morning while opening gifts. They are very good with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick Mix
  • 2/3 cups milk
  • 1 pound sausage, mild or hot
  • 1 cup grated cheese.
DIRECTIONS:

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a mixing bowl.

This is mixed entirely by hand.

You may have to add a little more Bisquick to make handling easier.

Shape into balls the size of walnuts.

Bake on a cookie sheet at 350° until brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.

    Makes about 3 dozen.

NOTE:Sausage Balls may be frozen before or after baking.
If frozen after baking, defrost and reheat at 350°.
