Best Peach Cobbler

This Best Peach Cobbler is an easy dessert recipe. It is a little different from most cobblers in that biscuits are used in place of a dough mixture. This makes it easy but it tastes great.

Ingredients:

  • 15 medium size peaches (5 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 10 ounces packages biscuits
DIRECTIONS:

Peal and slice peaches into 1/2" thick slices.

In al large bowl, toss peaches with flour, lemon juice, salt, sugar and cinnamon.

    Spoon into 13"X9" dish.

Cover tightly with foil; bake 35-45 minutes at 450°.

About 15 minutes before peaches are cooked, cut each biscuit into quarters.

Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, toss biscuits to coat.

Top hot peach mixture with biscuits.

Bake uncovered 10 minutes or until biscuits are brown.

    Serves 12
