Baked Cod Fish Recipes

"I have tried many baked cod fish recipes
and I think this is the best.!"

SeaBear Smokehouse
This is one of the best baked fish recipes that I have tried. It is very good when served with steamed broccoli and fresh baked bread.

This recipe works well with any mild fish if you can't find cod.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh or thawed frozen cod fillets.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • white pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp grated onion
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • paprika
  • minced parsley
DIRECTIONS:

Rinse fish and dry thoroughly with a paper towel.

Cut into serving size pieces and place in greased baking dish.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Combine melted butter, lemon juice, onion, garlic powder, dill weed and pour over fish.

Sprinkle lightly with paprika and parsley.

Bake in preheated oven at 325° for about 30 minutes or until fish flakes.
